COACH ELLIE RUSSELL
Personal Coach
I am hugely passionate about educating and inspiring others to love the game and seize their potential. Football (soccer here) has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I have 7 years coaching experience; I began coaching at my school and local club back home in England at the age of 16. I moved to the US to play at Middle Georgia State University and recently graduated in December. I spent a year as an Assistant Coach for the women’s soccer team there whilst I was recovering from ACL surgery. I now play professionally for Columbus Rapids, alongside coaching at Georgia ODP, SUFC, and Opelika Crush. My main goal through coaching is to make a positive impact on every player’s life I work with and bring them the joy that football has brought me.

COACH TRIPP VINING
Goal Keeper Coach
As a constant in my life, soccer and more specifically the art of goalkeeping is a skill that I enjoy sharing with the youth in our area. As a goalkeeper, I found much success, but more importantly, starting with the Smiths United program through to my time at Emmanuel College, I found mentors in coaches and found family in teammates. The soccer field was a second home and if I wasn’t playing, you could find me refereeing or coaching other keepers. My goal in coaching is to build the foundation for each player to reach their max potential by accessing their existing skills and taking those abilities to the next level. We will start with an assessment of your player’s capabilities within the goal as well as an evaluation of their competency for the role a goalkeeper plays within the game. From there we are intentional in the objectives we set and follow through with a plan of action based on that player’s commitment to reaching their desired target.
$40 assessment and evaluation session (1.5 - 2 hours)
$30 weekly individual goalkeeper training (1 hour)
$20 per player group training (1 hour)

COACH CARTER SINGLETARY
Personal Coach
Growing up in Smiths Station, I was always excited for the time to come when it would be up to me to pass on what I have learned to the next generation of Smiths Station soccer players. Being able to work with these players in my hometown at SUFC has been such a privilege for me. I am currently the SUFC Director of Coaching, after having been the SUFC Director of Player Development for the past 18 months. My personal goal is to help all players kindle their love for the game through challenging them to be their best selves mentally and physically as they develop alongside their passion for soccer. This game provides each player with such unique, once in a lifetime experiences, and I want every player to be ready for all challenges life throws at them. Training with me, my focus will be to eliminate any weaknesses in a player’s game by providing a well-rounded training regimen utilizing motor development activities, various technical drills, and a variety of game-realistic tactical situations to train for.
